Layer 2 Technologies - Managing Mac address table

Hi everyone

There are three purposes for the ethernet switch.

 1.  Learning addresses 

 2.  Forward/filter decision

 3.  Loop avoidance.

Learning address is like this

You can use "show  mac-address-table" to check cam table. By using "show mac-address-table aging-time " checks the lift time of mac address.
