HTML5 for Mobile Devices

HTML5 impact on application programming

I had been recently talking to some developers about the programming and APP development on mobiles and quite a few people are of the opinion that HTML5 may help the mobile Apps go to the next level.

The biggest problem HTML5 is supposed to solve is write once run anywhere applications. Most of the programs will have the same look and feel if they are run on a PC or mobile and between different devices.

Of course not everything is perfect. There are yet many API that need to be implemented in for HTML5 like the 3D and Mic API ect. Another problem is that alot of phones are not yet supporting HTML5 and some of them hat are supporting, not supporting it completely.
